Bari, Italy, is one of the most vibrant cities in the south of the country. This video shows a one-day itinerary: from the train station to the waterfront. We start on Via Sparano, the main pedestrian street. April 25th is a holiday: Corso Vittorio Emanuele is closed, there's a show right outside, and people are everywhere. We dive into Bari Vecchio—a labyrinth of narrow streets, the smell of fresh pasta, and restaurants and bars right on the street. We emerge onto a terrace between the old town and the sea, stroll along the waterfront, and enter the square in front of the Basilica of San Nicola—this is where the relics of St. Nicholas are kept.
