三浦の秘境 シークレット･ビーチに行ってみた！【神奈川県 三浦市･雨崎海岸】シーグラスの宝庫発見‼

This is a little-known, hidden beach, and when I got there, I was surprised to find it covered in sea glass. It's ranked third in Kanagawa Prefecture for both the quantity and quality of sea glass. I had no trouble getting there as I had previously been shown the way by a local elderly man, but to get to the beach you have to walk along an old promenade that has now become a mountain path. There are air-raid shelters and artillery remains in the area, and until a few years ago there were tank wrecks on the beach, so it's a place full of war relics. Amazaki Beach is about 450m long, and if you walk south along the water's edge you can reach a large cave. Sea glass is scattered all over the sand here, and the sea glass here is generally more rounded than at neighboring Totsuhama Beach. I did a quick search for sea glass to take photos and found about 1kg. I left everything I collected behind, but there is so much more lying around that I couldn't pick it all up, so if you're interested, please go and check it out. It's best to go at low tide, or preferably mid-tide or spring tide, according to the tide table to avoid getting wet and find sea glass. Sea glass collection at this beach is limited to winter. The reason is that the inner part of this beach apparently becomes a nudist beach from April to October, so it's wise to avoid it during that time. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ [Directions] There is no parking nearby, so please use public transportation, walking, or bicycles. By bus 1. From Keikyu Miura-Kaigan Station, take the Keikyu Bus [Umi 34] bound for Tsurugizaki or [Umi 35] bound for Misaki Higashioka and get off at Matsuwa. The bus ride takes 20 minutes and costs 290 yen. 2. Next, walk from the Matsuwa bus stop to the entrance of the Eastern Purification Center. The journey takes 8 minutes, covering 1 km. To determine your walking route, set "Eastern Purification Center" in Google Navigation on your smartphone. *There are two routes to the Eastern Purification Center; walk east from the bus stop. The route toward the sea is off-limits, so do not take it. 3. Turn right onto the farm road in front of the entrance to the "Miura City Eastern Purification Center." 4. Next, walk 100 m along the farm road and you will find a small path on the left. Enter here; this is the entrance to the old promenade. 5. Continue along the old promenade for about 80 m and you will see a bulldozer on your right, and a dilapidated car beyond that. Continue along the road for a further 170 m to reach Amezaki Coast F. There are no restrooms, shops, or vending machines near the collection site, so please be prepared if you have children. 7. Be careful of speed traps and police motorcycles near Miura Beach. 8. Apparently, the back of this coast becomes a nudist beach from April to October, so it is wise to stay away during that time....
