Rolling in the Deep - Adele... cover by The Graystones ft. Evan Riley

Hello everyone! In 2011, Adele released Rolling in the Deep, an amazing song which proved to be one of her greatest hits. She described it as a "dark blues-y gospel disco tune" Singing any Adele song is a challenge. And on this one, Adele herself stated "...there's notes that I hit in that song ("Rolling in the Deep") that I never even knew I could hit." We attempted to capture as much of the original feel as we could. Welcome to Sock Session #15 Behind the music: Around 3:30pm on 7 April 2026, Grayson ran home after school and met up with some of the other band members who had come over to do this Sock Session. We all set up and ran through it 4 times. What you're hearing here is the 4th and final take (the band members vote on which take they like the best - as you can hear at the end of the video) Performers on this song: Grayson - drums Evan Riley - vocals (guest singer) Jake - electric guitar Grey - bass Harin - keys We added some percussion (images inserted)... and while we recorded other vocals for the background vocals parts, we wound up recording Evan Riley on her own for those same parts separately and used those instead.
