Determined to catch a Shoreham plaice! Beach fishing UK

Beach fishing trip to Shoreham in West Sussex to catch plaice and flounders in April 2022. Arrived on the beach at 7.30am at low tide with the plan to fish the tide in till lunchtime and then fish it back down for a couple of hours till late afternoon. Fished with Andy and Martin and was joined later in the day by Rob. Weather was cold with sunny intervals and a North Easterly wind which went round Easterly towards the end of the afternoon. Sea was calm and clear and looked perfect for plaice, baits used were fresh and frozen blow lug for plaice or flounder and bluey and squid cocktail fished at distance for the chance of a ray.
