YTP: Mad Gas In Africa

Episode 11 Our wacky animals attempt to return home to New York and end up in Africa were more wackiness ensues. Production Notes This video was shockingly hard to make as I struggled to get something going from gags to an actual story. this video was intended as a simple one as the next will be a big one but eventually evolved into the finished product. While this video is a follow-up to Mad Gas Gar, unlike the Shrek 2 one its treated as a light sequel over a direct sequel. Like the previous one, I use sentence mixing more regularly, in this case to give Makunga some odd dialogue by taking some from other films Alec Baldwin was in. The dance-off was one of the goals of the video as I wanted it to be a proper dance that ended in an explosion The Herbie scene didn't come out as I was doing it myself which meant I had to balance the car myself and which meant I couldn't show him throwing the penguins off as I planned. Part of the reason the video was slow was because I changed the climax, originally it would have ended with Melman jumping into the volcano to restore the water. However I found it rather dull so I changed it to the plane scene instead. The ending was shoot by me and having learned to position things properly for keying I was able to film it without reshooting constantly.
