Supreme Ruler of Ukwulu Kingdom, celebrates New Yam Festival

The traditional ruler of Ukwulu, HRM Igwe Peter Uyanwa(Ezedike) celebrates with his people in his palace as entire Dunukofia local government of Anambra State celebrates new yam festival on same date, Friday September 23 2022. Ezedike prayed for peace, progress and unity of his kingdom and Anambra State. He praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his great works in the state, and affirm his unshakeable support for the government. Among the dignitaries that embrace this year's event are Senator Uche Ekwunife, Hon Pete Ibida, Chief Vincent Udobi (Ike Dunukofia), Igwe Alfred Achebe(Onitsha), Igwe Romanus Iloh(Nise), Igwe Dr Emeka Onuorah(Oraukwu), Igwe Surv Charles Agbala(Uke),Igwe MacAnthony Okonkwo(Alor), Igwe Alphonsus Ezebuilo(Amanuke), and various groups, social clubs, friends and well wishers.
