Certina DS Podium, the Swiss Universal Watch!

Another second hand buy, a bit more upmarket this time. My first Swiss watch and one of my most worn, excellent time keeping from the ETA2824 based movement. This is the earlier model of this watch with the hi beat 28800 movement (the new version comes with the Powermatic 80 movement) and all the better for it imho, the smoother sweep appeals to me! The watch has been utterly reliable and accurate, and one that will stay with me. For me represents better value than alternatives around the same price I paid, albeit a bit of effort went in to refinishing the case and bracelet when I bought it.
