The first set of tensions would escalate in the 1950s with the Northern Island War which resulted into the First Collapse of the Manuelian Empire and subsequent dark age. Tensions would once return in the 1970s once the Manuelian Empire betrayed the Cultists in the Second Great Islands War. Soon the Cold War happened with new powers but with the same tensions made by Urukian. The 1990s would see a time of peace and new powers such as the Federal Republic of Toskovi, Clans, and the Northern Island Confederation. After a limited world war in the mid 90s, it was thought that tensions will become peaceful. It was not the case. Following rising tensions in the early 21st century and Cold War/Manuelian and Urukian tensions, the world heated up with tensions equally worse as the early 90s during the AbelLandian Crisis. In 2003, the Dakean state went into a civil war causing chaos and a loss of Manuelia’s biggest buffer/ally. Soon tensions across the Islands will rise.
