Seattle Railfan Roundup - Summer 2024

Since moving to Seattle a year ago, I’ve kept up with railfanning, but work, hand pain and a few larger projects that are in various states of completion have prevented me from uploading much. Regardless, I challenged myself to get something published this weekend, so here’s a quick compilation of recent rail activity around Seattle in the months of June, July and very early August. Featured in this video are full scale and live steam trains on Stevens Pass, a variety of Sounder and Amtrak trains, a rare Burlington Northern GP38-2 leading a manifest , UP’s marginal way local after dark, the first two times I finally managed to film the Everett to Roosevelt trash train, and finally, a three way Amtrak Meet in Sodo.
