Nezhmetdinov defeats the Sicilian Dragon in 15 moves

Featured is a game played at the 1946 Kazan Championship between Rashid Nezhmetdinov and P. Ermolin. Nezhmetdinov opts for the Levenfish variation against the Sicilian Dragon and executes e5 at the first available moment. Due to Ermolin's poor reaction to this advance, Nezhmetdinov gains a winning advantage after only 8 moves. A unique position arises after Nezhmetdinov's 14th move where he poses three threats: a queen capture, a mate in 1, and a mate in 2. There is no defense to all of these threats.
