Welcome to our ultimate guide to Christmas in Dublin! 🇮🇪 If you're planning a trip to Ireland and looking for the best Dublin Christmas markets and winter lights, this walkthrough covers all the top festive attractions in the city centre. ❄️ Our evening was spent exploring the Winter in Dublin programme, which brings together the city's best markets and the stunning Dublin Winter Lights trail. We started off at the beautiful Christmas at the Castle, the amazing Christmas market at Dublin Castle. Next, we headed over to the massive Christmas Spectacular in Smithfield. Relaunching as TwinkleTown, this is now the main Dublin Christmas market and features a huge ferris wheel, an ice rink and plenty of festive food stalls. After grabbing a hot drink, we took a walk to see the famous Dublin Winter Lights where some of the most iconic landmarks are lit up for the season. You'll see incredible festive projections on The GPO, Trinity College and the Custom House. There are also two special installations you can't miss—one at the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks and a brilliant interactive light park at Merrion Square. We finished our night under the iconic Grafton Street Christmas lights.
