Bankstown Green Waste

Its been a while since my last green waste "vegetation" video, so for this weeks video we see yet another light blue cleanaway machine doing the heavy green waste work in Bankstown Council on a street with a mix of houses and units. We see truck 731 a dedicated bankstown green waste truck collecting the green lidded bins on a Wednesday morning in the suburb of Greenacre just after 11am on the last few hours of the run. There are three of these 2007 Iveco Acco/25m Superior PAK Raptor's (731,732,733) servicing Bankstown Green Waste on a daily basis each completing two solid loads, starting at 5am and tipping there loads off at Veolia's Greenacre site. After turning off the Hume Hwy and into the local streets I followed the trail of empty/full bins and within minutes I found this truck in the distance. After waiting a short while I heard the truck roar around the corner, got the green light from the driver in regards to the videos and I was off videoing. I was also surprised as there was shitloads of green waste bins out to collect for the winter period I would hate to see what it is like in Bankstown during the summer period. As you will see in the video there is plenty of packing, revving and shaking which is what you expect when you have got a Superior PAK Pendulum Packer picking up vegetation at units. Also it doesn't help when its all light branches and leaves in the bins, all you need is heavy bins full of grass to get it going. These earlier Series 2 Raptor models have always had problems with keeping up with the constant flow of material especially on the recycle and greens collections. For those who don't know just recently in Sydney, there has been a number of forced council mergers/amalgamations and now both Canterbury and Bankstown Councils have been merged as one, waste collections will run as per normal until all existing contracts expire. Thanks has to go to the driver behind the wheel and remember to like, fav and sub. AussieGarbo67
