2026 Alabama District 1 High School Honor Band Audio Only, Music Only Cut 2026 Alabama Bandmasters Association District 1 High School Honor Band, February 21st, 2026, Huntsville Alabama I did not record video of this performance but did record the audio and a still image so I decided to post it. I cut this down tightly to just the music as there is no video to watch during the gaps. This is technically a 4k video although there is no motion. The audio was recorded with 2 Rode VideoMicro microphones approximately 8 inches apart at 90 degrees to each other in a near-coincident style similar to the ORTF technique. The audio was equalized to flat frequency response using the measured response of the microphones. Audio was high-pass filtered at 20 Hz 24 dB/octave. Audio is amplified such that the loudest sound just hits full scale. This was done because normalization to -23 LUFS produced some slight clipping. The recording was done at 96kHz 24 bit and uploaded at 48kHz 24 bit uncompressed.
