China's Gambling Capital is NOT What I Expected...
Join us as we enter Macau, China's infamous gambling Capital. Macau was first colonised by the Portuguese back in 1557, and remained in their control until 1999. It's now a Special Administrative Region of China, retaining its own currency and government. To begin with, we stay at the Cotai Strip, famous for its many luxury resorts and casinos. This area alone brings in vast amounts of revenue for the city, even more than Las Vegas. Later on, we head over to Macau island, where we found a fascinating fusion of Eastern and Western culture, woven into the fabric of society. I hope you enjoy :) ---------------------------------------- CHAPTERS: 0:00 - Entering Macau 1:14 - Why So Many Casino's? 2:05 - Luxury Mall & Hotel 3:31 - Dinner in the Sky 4:25 - Famous Water Show (Incredible) 5:17 - Hitting the Casino 6:12 - Macau's Eiffel Tower 8:03 - TeamLab Art Experience 9:06 - Heading to Old Macau 9:49 - The Oldest Hotel in Macau 11:24 - Exploring the City Streets 14:56 - Living Prices 15:42 - The First Western University in the East 16:22 - Why is Macau so quiet?
