Paul Weller from the Jam's Black Barn Studios with Singing Streets
Black Barn Studios, opened in 1985, and is owned by Paul Weller, formerly of The Jam. It's where he recorded several solo albums, including '22 Dreams' and 'A Kind Revolution'. In 2019, Weller oversaw "The Black Barn Sessions", a series of performances from Weller and guest musicians, which were then released on Weller's YouTube channel @paulwellerpresentstheblack38 Many other bands have recorded here including The Who, Motörhead, Gary Numan, Ray Davies, and John Martyn. Manic Street Preachers spent almost four months here in 1991 recording their debut album, 'Generation Terrorists'. Weller also runs Solid Bond Productions, Ltd from this site.
