My Coming Out Story

YouTube has been an amazing platform that helped me tremendously accepting who I was as a gay teen. After spending hours and hours watching all coming out stories I could find on YouTube I eventually gathered the courage I needed to do it myself, 5 years ago. So this is a bit about my own story. I know I am immensely lucky for an accepting family and group of friends and if you feel that it might not be your situation, you can search for LGBTQ centers around you that will help you in these truly doubting times. The internet is a great way to connect with people that can assist you and make you feel less alone. It can be a Facebook group, an Instagram page, the info of the closest LGBTQ center, or all combined. Take all the help you need to accept who you are and safely come out. Hope you enjoy my story!
