Sannyas Initiation at Osho Tapoban (Nepal, Kathmandu 03/26/2021) Bodhisattva Swami Anand Arun is the founder and coordinator of the Osho Tapoban international commune in Nepal. On March 29, 1969, when he was still an engineering student, Swami Arun met Osho for the first time. At first glance, he realized that his search for a master came to an end. In 1974 he took initiation from Osho in Pune. Soon, he was instructed by the Master opened the Ashish Center in Kathmandu to spread his vision, and then in 1990 the Osho Tapoban community. Now about 70 sannyasins live in the commune, where up to 700 people gather for meditation camps and celebrations. During his work as a commune coordinator and meditation teacher, Swami Anand Arun initiated more than one hundred thousand people from 90 different countries to Neo-Sannyas Osho. Six months a year he travels around the world where gives discourses and facilitates Osho meditation retreats. He guides six Osho communes and eighty-five meditation centers in Nepal, a commune in America and about one hundred and fifty Osho meditation centers around the world. For his active social work in 2016, he received an award from the government of Nepal. Swami Anand Arun is an engineer by profession, also a celebrated writer and orator. He successfully cooperates with various companies. His recent book Lone Seeker, Many Masters has garnered much popularity in a very short period of time. His previous books in Nepali - Santa Darshan, Santa Gatha and Antaryatra - have become national bestsellers. Swami Arun also contributes regularly in The Kathmandu Post, a leading english national daily. In Wonder with Osho, Panchasheel: Five Sutra of Self Transformation and others have been translated into Russian and are very popular among spiritual seekers in Russia.
