INTRODUCTION TO DOĞANBEY VILLAGE Doğanbey Village is an important settlement located in the Aegean Region, notable for its historical and natural beauty. Although it is commonly believed to be part of İzmir, it is administratively part of the Söke district of Aydın province. Its proximity to İzmir makes it a frequent destination. The village's history dates back to ancient times, to the Ancient Era. Formerly called "Domatia," this settlement was inhabited by Greeks for many years. After the Turkish-Greek population exchange in 1923, the Greek population left the village, and Turks settled in their place. Over time, Doğanbey Village has been divided into two parts: the upper section, known today as "Old Doğanbey," has become an area that preserves its historical character. The lower section, "New Doğanbey," has been established. Old Doğanbey today resembles an open-air museum. Long-distance motorcycle riding and camping are experiences full of freedom and adventure. While the journey begins with preparation, the real value lies in the surprises encountered along the way. Exploring diverse landscapes, connecting with nature, and living a simple life makes this experience special. Although challenges may arise, these situations contribute to personal growth.
