Blue Room w/ Row Emery

People’s Choice Winner of Go Goose Event’s Whistler Edit Battle @ Maxx Fish, May 2026 🏆 Still dealing with potentially lifelong complications more than three years after a serious knee injury, I was told I’d likely never regain full range of motion. Last season, I hit one of the lowest points of my life mentally. In the place where I came to become the best version of myself, I actually completely lost myself. I felt uncomfortable in the very environment where I was usually in my element. I struggled to enjoy skiing — the thing that had always set my soul on fire. After a major wake-up call, I realised I was far from okay and needed to heal my mind, not just my knee. I got a great therapist, asked for help, and made some drastic life changes. I focused harder on my mental health and knee rehab than ever before. Instead of dwelling on what I’d lost, I started expecting nothing and appreciating everything. I didn’t film as much as I wanted, and I didn’t get all the clips I dreamed of for a comeback edit this winter. But the truth is, skiing set my soul on fire again. Mostly, I was too busy enjoying the simple things on the mountain that I kept putting off stacking clips or even skiing park in general. This video goes out to men’s mental health, which I understand more than ever how important it is to talk about. ❤️ Check in with your friends. Check in with yourself. Ask, “how are you really?” And spread nothing but love into the world around you. If you’re fighting silent battles, don’t be afraid to reach out for help. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.
