NAF was one among many in the second generation of NA CS:GO pros. It wasn't until his Conquest/OpTic line-ups he began making waves for international viewers, with wins at Northern Arena and ELEAGUE S2. After that he began a solo star for Renegades before rejoining the Team Liquid organisation that had kicked him after a brief tenure years earlier. In Team Liquid NAF became one of the world's best players and Liquid transformed into a regular event finalist, most famously falling to their seemingly unbeatable rivals Astralis. 2019 saw Liquid break through and topple Astralis for the world number one ranking and an Intel Grand Slam win, the latter coming in record time. Astralis would again over-take Liquid and the tragedy of the NA side's run was that it came between majors and NAF has yet to reach the final of a CS:GO major. A recent return to the top for Liquid came with streaky results but some deep finishes in the last nine months or so. Reaching the final of ESL ProLeague S16, final of BLAST World Finals, semis at IEM Katowice and top eight at the BLAST Paris Major. In part two, NAF talks about stanislaw as an IGL, his brief time as a star in Renegades, joining Liquid and trying to leave early on, zews and TACO's contributions to Liquid's success and how the mentality in the team was heading into 2019.
