Net Neutrality explained simply is that your ISP cannot restrict or redirect content. It must provide you free and open access to any website you want. However, that is not the most profitable way to run an ISP so the want the rules changed. In a few days the FCC will vote to decide whether or not to allow companies to restrict data or not. I think the implications here are massive for freedom of speech, information, press, assembly, research, and almost every important aspect of our modern lives. So today, I want to explain Net Neutrality as simply as possible, and hopefully spur some of you to take action. Hopefully 2017 will be the year we make Net Neutrality permanent.
