The most Important step for your Off-grid permit - Septic

It's exciting to have dreams and plans for your new off-grid property! Since so many folks have asked in the comments my septic install designed for 2 low flush toilets etc. cost $5000. But in order to not have the wheels come off of your permit application it's important to know each step along the way to achieve a permit to build. The opt out permitting process is no exception. Remember even if you are doing a modest smaller septic system with a compost toilet you still must do a simple more inexpensive septic to take care of the water from kitchen sink etc. Kitchen sink water is labeled BlackWater by the County.
