A supplemental video for: "Drum Chart Supplement: The Real Easy Book (3-horn / level 1) edition" by Alan Hall Sher Music Co This video explains and demonstrates some of the skills needed to support some of the tunes in "The Real Easy Book (3-horn / Level 1) edition", published by Sher Music. It provides descriptions and demonstrations of some essential elements in Elvin Jones' comping style. It also provides some basic drills one can work with to develop this "rolling triplet" style of jazz drumming. Accompanying text and worksheets can be found the book.
