The day they had been waiting for 11 long years. The day when school lessons, tests, first victories and experiences are left behind, and a new adult stage of life opens ahead. A solemn graduation party for 11th grade students was held at the Horodok Lyceum No. 1. Even before the start of the festive ceremony, a special atmosphere reigned in the hall. Graduates were adjusting their ribbons for the last time, girls were finishing their hairstyles and makeup, and parents were anxiously waiting for the moment when their children would solemnly enter the hall as graduates of 2026. For many schoolchildren, this day became one of the most emotional in their lives. They admitted that they could not believe how quickly the school years had passed. It seems that only recently there was the first bell, the first class and meeting classmates, and today it is time to say goodbye to school and set off towards new dreams. The celebrations began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and a minute of silence in honor of the Ukrainian defenders who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state. After that, representatives of the city authorities, teachers and parents addressed the graduates, wishing the young people to confidently go towards their goals, not to be afraid of difficulties and always remember their native community. A special moment was the presentation of certificates of complete secondary education. This year, 56 graduates received a document of completion of their studies. Among them were 12 students who completed their studies with honors and were awarded the personalized medals "Intellect of the Gorodochny Region". Loud applause rang out in the hall, and parents did not hide their tears of joy and pride for their children. For many families, this day became a real symbol of the completion of an important stage in life. The special atmosphere of the holiday was created by the creative performances of the graduates. The students performed original songs, dedicated numbers to their parents and teachers, and thanked them for their support and care. The most touching moment of the evening was the joint dance of the graduates with their mothers and fathers, after which the young people performed the traditional farewell waltz. The teachers admitted that it would be difficult for them to say goodbye to their students. They recalled the years of joint work, the achievements of the graduates, and expressed the hope that the young people would realize their dreams in Ukraine and help build the state after the victory. However, the graduation at Lyceum No. 1 has had another important mission for several years in a row. Instead of traditional bouquets for teachers, a charity collection is organized here for the needs of the Ukrainian military.
