Amateur cyclists still use it relatively little, but in the professional peloton it is already fully integrated into training theory: Critical Power. This power limit seems to be slowly but surely displacing the well-known Functional Threshold Power (FTP). But what is the actual difference between these two, how do you calculate Critical Power, and what is W'?
