Let's explore again. This golf course opened to the public during the pandemic in 2021, so it hasn't been long since it opened. It was built by Korem 073/Makutarama, utilizing a soldier's training area, but without eliminating its primary function as a shooting range. The hope is to create a multiplier effect in the surrounding area. The course is quite compact, with only 9 holes and only Par 4 and Par 3 courses. The layout is quite flat. Straightforward, but don't be fooled. It's still challenging, with narrow fairways and small, raised greens. So it's still fun and exciting, guys. Located in Karang Duren Village, very close to the city of Salatiga. The second oldest city in Indonesia is around 1,200 years old. It was founded in 750 AD. Since the Dutch era, Salatiga has been dubbed the most beautiful city in Central Java. This is supported by its geography, cool weather, and strategic location. When I played here, I only took about an hour to complete 9 holes. The mountain views are truly beautiful. The majestic Mount Merbabu really seems close, especially if you play in the morning or evening. And the location is quite strategic, only a few minutes from the Salatiga toll gate.
