Canadian CF-18 Hornets depart Prestwick for Canada

A day that I'd waited for eight months for! In March 2011 these beauties came from Canada and ONS at PIK enroute to Italy were they were to take part in the "duties" in Libya. I was in Singapore, so missed the action. Not so this time! They took off with full afterburners and the whole experience was surreal! The rain came down for the second wave of 3 planes but that couldn't dampen our spirits, just our equipment.
