I tried to disable the rapid blinking of the power light on the LIXIL Amage ZDT-ZA182 toilet. This model allows you to access the circuit board without removing the flush handle. After 10 years, a maintenance sign (notification of when to check) appears on LIXIL toilets. Specifically, the power light starts to blink rapidly (5 times per second in succession). If there are no other malfunctions, it can be used normally and there is no problem. Older products could be disabled by pressing a button on the device, but now it can only be disabled by having a serviceman inspect it (for a fee). It's not very pleasant to have the sign appear even though there is nothing broken.
