Baltimore Favorite Rapper Sammy!!! Gone too soon!!

I’m not even sure how to start this, but I need to share something heavy. Last night, I lost one of my best friends, Sammie. He was a star. A true light. A storyteller. A lyricist. And man, he could rap his soul out and I was happy to share him with the world. Sammy was open about his struggles. He fought hard, and for longer than most ever knew. I don’t know the exact cause right now, but I do know this: he mattered. His life mattered. His voice mattered. He made so many people smile together. Whether it was a freestyle on North Ave. or is going in a bando. I wish we had more time. God, I wish I had one more laugh, one more rap, one more hug. But I’m grateful for every moment we did have.
