【スト6】MR1500安定するために必須の五つ!#スト6

To be honest, I struggled a lot at this level myself. I kept going back and forth between the 1400s and 1500s, winning a few games, then dropping again… over and over. I was honestly getting frustrated, thinking “What am I doing wrong?” At that time, I thought I just needed to “get better,” so I focused on difficult techniques. But in reality, that wasn’t the problem. It was actually a lack of simple fundamentals. Once I realized that and started focusing on the 5 points I’ll talk about today, I stopped dropping below 1500 and started improving consistently. This is really important— if you’re missing even one of these, you won’t be able to stay at 1500. On the flip side, just fixing these can make a huge difference. There’s nothing complicated here, so make sure to watch until the end! ⸻ ① Basic Anti-Airs First: basic anti-airs They don’t need to be perfect. You don’t have to stop every jump, and you don’t even need a DP. As long as you hit them out of the air, it’s fine. But there’s one important rule: Don’t let obvious jumps go unpunished. At lower levels, a common issue is letting repeated jumps go through, then getting pressured up close afterward. That’s the most wasteful way to lose. So just decide simple rules like: • “I use this move for anti-air” • “I always watch this range” If you can consistently stop easy jumps, your damage taken will drop a lot. ⸻ ② Reliable, Consistent Combos Second: have reliable combos This is extremely important. Common mistakes are: • Freestyling combos in the moment • Going for difficult combos and dropping them If you want to stay at 1500, use simple, consistent combos that still do good damage. Street Fighter 6 has high base damage, so matches are often decided in just a few touches. That means each combo matters a lot. Improving your consistency alone will win you more games. So define things like: • “This is my punish after DI” • “This is my punish after blocking a reversal” Having stable options for each situation makes a huge difference. ⸻ ③ Don’t Burn Yourself Out Third: don’t burn yourself out This is very important. Drive gauge is basically your “second health bar.” If you lose it: • Your defense gets weaker • You get overwhelmed in the corner • You often lose the round A common mistake below 1500 is: • Using Drive Rush too casually • Ending up in burnout without noticing So I made a simple rule: “Don’t use Drive Rush if I have less than 5 bars.” Just this alone reduced a lot of unnecessary losses. ⸻ ④ Use Raw Drive Rush to Engage Fourth: use raw Drive Rush to approach This is also very important. Instead of always using cancel Drive Rush, mix in raw Drive Rush. If it hits, you get a similar situation for much less resource. It’s very cost-effective. Even at higher levels, raw Drive Rush is hard to react to. I once coached a player around MR1300 and told them to use more raw Drive Rush. They reached 1500 in about 3 hours. Of course, don’t spam it randomly. Use it like: • From mid-range after observing • When the opponent is passive Increasing your chances to engage leads directly to more damage. So definitely focus on this. ⸻ ⑤ Use Your Character’s Win Condition Fifth: use your character’s win condition A lot of players don’t do this. One common issue is not using the character’s strong, standard options at all. That leads to inconsistent gameplay. Even if you win, it feels random. So what matters is: Decide how your character wins. For example, with Akuma: • Create situations to land OD fireball pressure in the corner • Use tools like Demon Flip and fireballs to get in That’s enough. Having a clear plan makes your gameplay more stable and consistent. ⸻ Closing So, how was it? Today we covered 5 essentials to stay consistently at MR1500. None of these are difficult, but if you’re missing them, you won’t be stable. I used to focus on flashy skills like combos and whiff punishes, but it didn’t improve my win rate at all. Once I fixed these fundamentals, I suddenly became consistent. So instead of trying to do everything at once, just focus on one thing in your next ranked matches. I recommend starting with this: Replace some cancel Drive Rush usage with raw Drive Rush. That alone can make a big difference. If you found this helpful, please like and subscribe! See you in the next video. Thanks for watching!
