Stevens Model 77A
Meet Larry, my Stevens Model 77A pump action 12 gauge sporting a 28’’ modified choke 2 3/4’’ barrel, 5+1 tube mag, and a personality that keeps shooters on their toes. Made in 1954, its first year of production, it led Stevens/Savage into the modern era by holding thier hand as they left their almost 50 year old very successful John Browning design behind. Come along as we explore this design, pattern and shoot it, and discuss our experiences with it. One thing we skip over is where the name Larry comes from, the shotgun is very private about its past and did not want me to discuss it, so I will quietly tell you here……it was scratched into the plastic behind the butt plate. Keep it between us. Look, I don't ask for your money, use your money to buy guns! What I ask for is free, takes a second, and keeps this channel up and running. First, LIKE the video with a thumbs up, and second, SUBSCRIBE and hit notifications to keep us alive and recommended in the YouTube algorithm. Don't be shy, comment with your thoughts if you like! That's it! Would love to keep this channel going for as long as possible to bring you along on my ride of collecting interesting firearms! Much appreciated!
