Once upon a time, a ski lift operated and tourism flourished. The Kisva River, which flows through the village, originates from under Blyznytsia - the highest peak of the Svydovetsky massif! The first historical mention in documents about the village is in 1361, then this vitrification was called Ozon! Since the end of the 18th century, iron ore was mined in Kosivska Polyana and smelted at a metalworking plant in Kobyletskaya Polyana. By the way, there is an interesting legend about it, associated with the Opryshki and Oleksa Dovbush! The Banskyi farm, in which we began our expedition through the village, originates from a tunnel bathhouse, where, according to the stories of old-timers, gold was evaporated long ago!
