In this episode of The Black American Orthodox Experience, Fr. Chrysostom speaks with Tim Rush about his conversion to the Orthodox Church, balancing his passion for the Church and maintaining strong relationships in a family where not everyone is Orthodox, and his book, "The Elisha Principle: Revival Through Sonship" Tim lives in Hampton Roads with his wife of 17 years, his two lovely daughters, and dog Jumpsy. TIm is passionate about God, family, community, and education. He was led to the Orthodox church through his desire to improve his spiritual life through prayer and fasting. He joined the Orthodox Church in 2021. Tim enjoys learning, writing, and podcasting. He has written one book so far and is working on a second about his journey into Orthodoxy.
