Every Infantryman's Worst Nightmare... A Lost Weapon | Night Diorama Build

Have you ever wondered what happens when a soldier loses accountability of their weapon? This diorama recreates a scene that every infantryman hopes they never experience. It's 2:00 AM during an Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) land navigation train-up at Fort Lewis, Washington. The unit should already be heading home, but instead they're conducting what soldiers jokingly call "Hands Across America," spreading out shoulder to shoulder searching for a missing weapon. A squad leader scans the forest with his flashlight and finally discovers the rifle leaning against a lonely porta potty near a land navigation point. Unfortunately... stories like this aren't fiction. In this video, I not only build the diorama from start to finish, but I also share one of my own Army experiences after losing a PEQ-15 during EIB training.
