Hello! I visited four independent arthouse cinemas in Seoul over three days. It's been frustrating to see so many theaters closing lately, so I made this film in the hopes that many people will take an interest in it. I also wanted to document conversations with my beloved aunt and friend. Ever since elementary school, I've skipped my studies and just watched movies day and night. I loved those moments of becoming someone else, even if just for a moment. Countless characters in movies have shaped who I am today, and I will continue to project movies into my future. As I became an adult and got busier, I often passively watched short clips, guided by algorithms and popularity, rather than selecting films based on my own tastes. Of course, there are times when this is beneficial. Going to the theater so frequently has made me realize the value of a fully immersive space like the theater. If I had to pick just one movie of my life, it would be "The Hunger Games." Of the ones I've seen recently, I'd choose "Cinema Paradiso." Please share your favorite movies and theaters in the comments! I've been making and acting in films since high school. I want to continue enjoying art. I also minored in film. I'm sure things will get busier and more tedious, but I'll be able to find some breathing room by rewatching this video whenever I need to. I hope this video will be of some help to you, just like watching a short film. I hope you finish the rest of August well and start September with a bang! From Park Hyo-young P.S. Until September 2nd, the government is distributing a 6,000 won discount coupon for movie tickets. Search it on Naver!
