Baldur’s Gate never wanted to make me a hero. In this video, I revisit my entire experience with Baldur’s Gate (1998): a demanding, sometimes unfair, but profoundly impactful RPG. Through my adventure, I wanted to convey what Baldur’s Gate does to the player: how it tests our patience, our confidence… and our relationship with failure. This isn’t a technical review, nor a guide. It’s the story of a player confronted with a game that refuses to reassure him.
