Beauty in worship isn't about impressive stages, expensive equipment, or creating an unforgettable experience. True beauty begins with God Himself. In this episode, we explore the theology of beauty and why it matters for worship. Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as beautiful, creates a beautiful world, commands beautiful craftsmanship for His worship, and communicates truth through beautifully written poetry, songs, and stories. Beauty is not opposed to truth—it serves truth. Using passages like *Psalm 27:4*, *Exodus 31*, *Psalm 19*, *Psalm 119*, and *Philippians 4:8*, we examine how beauty reflects God's character and why worship should fittingly display His holiness rather than merely entertain people. We also discuss the difference between beauty and entertainment. Entertainment seeks attention for itself, while biblical beauty directs our attention to God. The goal of worship isn't to impress the congregation with production value—it's to faithfully reflect the glory, majesty, and goodness of the God we serve. It's measured by whether our worship appropriately reflects the beauty of the One we are worshiping.
