NCRSP Legislative Workshop | June 18, 2026 Join NCRSP State Legislative Committee leaders Patricia Randall and Colleen Lanier for this Legislative Workshop from the 2026 NCRSP Leadership Series. This session explains the purpose and responsibilities of the NCRSP State Legislative Committee, including how NCRSP monitors state and federal issues affecting retired school personnel, the State Retirement System, the State Health Plan, Social Security, Medicare, and quality-of-life legislation. Topics include legislative updates, communication with local units and members, Legislative Contact Teams, candidate interviews through NCAE/NEA processes, the two-year legislative agenda, public education issues, the State Health Plan, and ways members can stay informed and involved.
