We will also complete a very interesting exercise, one of those commonly included in binomial distribution exams. First, we will study the formulas in detail, keeping in mind that the mean is also called the expected value. We will also look at the formula for the variance, and finally, the formula for the standard deviation. These formulas use the value of "n" or number of trials, as well as the value of "p" or probability of success. Remember that the standard deviation is the (positive) square root of the variance; that will help you a lot. We'll cover a very interesting exercise on the binomial distribution and credit cards.
