The festivities focused on the history, community life, and development of the district capital. 100 Years of Scheibbs: Foundation for Development Scheibbs was granted city rights in 1926, laying the foundation for its further development as the economic and administrative center of the region. Today, the district capital is an important location for administration, education, and healthcare. At the same time, Scheibbs boasts a historic old town, short distances, and a high quality of life. Mayor David Pöcksteiner emphasized the significance of this development at the anniversary celebration, noting that it has shaped the town over many decades and continues to define its character. A Century Celebrated with Community and Culture For its anniversary, Scheibbs presented itself as a vibrant city with a diverse range of clubs and cultural activities. Numerous performances, concerts, and events demonstrated the strong connection the residents have to their home.
