L’immagine come pratica di imbalsamazione di corpi con Greta Valente - Doppia Visione Podcast Ep. 74
Greta Valente is a freelance photographer based in Italy (born in Aosta in 1996). She studied at the European Institute of Design in Milan, where she graduated in 2018 with a degree in Photography and Visual Arts, with a thesis focused on memory. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in analog photography, landscapes, and still life. In 2019, she co-founded Pietra Studio, a photography duo focused on interiors and design, while her personal research explores the relationship between humans and the world around them. Her work has been published in various print and online magazines, including Domus, C41 Magazine, Artribune, and Fisheye Magazine, and has been featured in festivals, group exhibitions, and solo shows. In this episode, we discuss images, starting with the film "Bestiari, Erbari, Lapidari" by Martina Parenti and Massimo D'Anolfi, reflecting on cages, powers, and processes between photography and cinema.
