Stranger Things Film Location Tour #strangerthings #filmlocations #hawkins #atlanta #conformitygate I took a self-guided tour of several Stranger Things filming locations around Atlanta, Georgia. This video features a relaxed walkthrough of real-life filming sites used throughout the Stranger Things series. While I didn’t make it to every location, this tour highlights some of the most recognizable Stranger Things filming locations in the Atlanta metro area. There were a few additional Stranger Things locations I did not visit, either because they have been demolished or were not worth the trip. Hopper's Cabin required a reservation that I did not have at the time. A major location I hoped to visit was Hawkins Lab, one of the most iconic Stranger Things filming locations. Prior to Christmas 2025, the Hawkins Lab building was essentially abandoned and accessible to visitors. After a tragic event, security around the property was significantly tightened. While the building could still be viewed from a remote parking lot for a time, on the day of my visit it was completely blocked from the street. Hawkins Lab is expected to be fully demolished sometime in 2026. Most locations shown in this video are public areas. Some are private businesses or homes. Please respect the properties and their rules. Stay on public sidewalks and streets, be respectful when filming or taking photos, and remember that many private homes have private security.
