Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition - Mr. Slam (HO) Story

Mr. Slam stats: Max Health: 135 HP Handling: Sluggish Top Speed (Turbo): 80 MPH (145 MPH) Special Weapon Damage: 22 (20 on grab, 5 per slam) Special Weapon Regen: 30 seconds (Stats found by the Head-On community, such as DaAnimal and Sheonite. Speed was calculated by me by running each car across the ship on Greece DM and recording the time it took.) (To unlock, complete the Los Angeles minigame in Story Mode by the time limit) Mr. Slam has the highest health in the game, while also having high damage from his special. He's still very slow, though a bit faster than Warthog, and with slightly better handling. His wiggles can be used to dodge a bit better than his weight class should be able to, but it's tricky to learn and I'm not good at utilizing it yet. Either way, Mr. Slam is the ultimate tank in this game. Even if he only has slightly higher HP than Warthog does, it does help him cross an additional homing missile threshold from him. He's not winning any races though, so he's not great at positioning. His special weapon no longer has a delay between firing like it does in TM2, but rather it fires automatically when you connect the front end of the car to your target, similar to TM1/2 Hammerhead. Similar to the past monster trucks, it can be tricky to line up the shot to land the special due to his slow speed and sluggish handling, but it can be pretty worth it, as it's still a pretty good combo tool like it is in TM2, even if you can't fire additional shots while they're grappled. It's impossible to know how actually powerful this version of the special truly is against humans, since this can't be used ONLINE, and you would have to do split screen in Extra Twisted Edition, which itself changes the game kind of dramatically by virtue of it being split screen as opposed to being ONLINE, or the fact that napalms and remote bombs are broken, or that the maps are larger. I think he'd be good, but probably a little less powerful than his ONLINE version. However, seeing as ETE sadly has no online capabilities... for some reason... so the alternate special can't be displayed or demonstrated here. What I can demonstrate is the charge feature. Charging the special doesn't just increase the damage. It increases the range of the special, though at the cost of automatic activation. It's very interesting, and I do think it makes him more powerful, but in splitscreen PvP, it's not really usable there, so you'll basically never get to use it against a person. Played on Hard. Trying to go deathless. I still won't be doing the minigames, but I'm allowing the use of upgrades, partially to demonstrate them, and partially just to really let loose.
