FAAI Webinar – The realities of children in street situations: focus on Central Africa (ENGLISH)

Organised by the FAAI (Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil International) and Apprentis d’Auteuil, this webinar is a space for dialogue bringing together regional and international experts, field practitioners, and affected young people, in order to identify solutions to strengthen the protection of children in street situations. In countries such as Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Republic of Congo, the number of children in street situations is increasing significantly. However, these children remain largely invisible in statistics and are not sufficiently taken into account in public policies. In response to this concerning reality, Apprentis d’Auteuil and its local partners conducted a socio-anthropological study in these three countries to better understand the trajectories, vulnerabilities, and challenges faced by these children.
