Mount Kenya | Climbing Nelion 5188m, Batian 5199m | Lenana 4985m

Started from Met station, via Naromoru route. First night tent at Mckinder's hut. We wanted to do it in 2 days. But the weather was not good at our first try. We spent the afternoon resting, hiking up Lenana and slept at Austrian hut. The third day it was slightly snow at 4:30 when we wanted to start. We waited until 5am left from Austrian hut. 6am started to climb, 10am at Nelion, 11am at Batian, 12am back to Nelion. It took us 2h to rappel in the rain. Back to Austrian hut then back to pack our tent at Mckinder's, hike out to Met station at 19h30. The same day behind us, 4 other parties with local guids also summited Nelion.
