From there, I head straight into the historic city center to see the newly transformed Lal Chowk and the iconic Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower). No Srinagar tour is complete without experiencing the local culinary heritage, so I go on a food hunt to try authentic, slow-cooked Kashmiri Harissa at the famous Dilshad Restaurant! Next, I take a scenic stroll over the historic Zero Bridge to capture the moody, beautiful views of the Jhelum River. To get the ultimate bird's-eye perspective of the city, I climb up to the historic Hari Parbat Fort, followed by a peaceful walk through the nature trails of Badamwari Park (Badam Wadi).
