In 2018, the African-produced dating show “Hello Mr. Right,” created by Sida Times, premiered in Zambia, sparking a citywide craze. Building on this success, Sida Times expanded its reach, replicating the format in Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, and Ivory Coast, producing multi-national, multi-lingual dating shows. After five years of content refinement and program upgrades, Uganda finally welcomed its own “Hello Mr. Right”—a long-awaited rendezvous, yet the best possible meeting.
