This climax is just indescribable ecstasy

Scriabin's Fantaisie Op.28 contains one of his most exuberant and ecstatic climaxes from his early middle period, where thundering bass octaves and rapidly repeating chords abound to create an enormous orchestral sound. The compound meter and chordal texture remind me of the climax in Chopin's Barcarolle but Scriabin varies his textures considerably to create contrast. Expressive appoggiaturas and melodic leaps can be found throughout the melody, and these combined with richly extended harmonies give a distinctly scriabinesque flavour that extends the harmonic language of Chopin in a unique way.
