Tutorial: Intro to cutting trumpet mouthpiece rims and cups on a lathe

Tutorial for cutting the rim and cup of a trumpet mouthpiece using an epoxy impression as a reference. This is a great way to make mouthpiece copies, but it does take practice to do quickly. The more sells you get, the bigger cuts you can make early on. It typically takes about twenty minutes to copy the rim and cup of a mouthpiece. You can use dry erase ink as an aid, but its better if you don't. Sometimes ink helps, but not usually. I will making more detailed videos available. Ask me about them
