He and his friends, from the Auvergne and the South of France, have adopted this neighborhood. As Paris wakes up, Pierrot, owner of the bistro on Place d'Aligre, opens his establishment. His first customers start their day at night: the market gardeners. Pierrot has reinvented the ancient profession of night crier for his neighbors: he goes to wake up one by one the neighbors who have to get up early. This report paints an intimate portrait of a Parisian neighborhood with its endearing characters and their little habits.
